Hackers are using clever tactics to make it look as though an email is from a trusted person you know.
These imposter emails have convinced people to share sensitive information and even transfer significant amounts of money to fraudsters.
We have deployed new technology behind the scenes to protect you and our business. One or more of the following actions will occur if we suspect an email is from an imposter:
- We will block it before it reaches you.
- We will add a message at the top of it and even in the subject line – e.g. ‘SUSPICIOUS MESSAGE’.
- We will add “This message contains suspicious characteristics and has originated from outside your organization” into the body of the message."

You can help spot an imposter email by checking the email address for subtle changes, like 'cornpany' instead of 'company'.
