The following guide will walk you through how to mute all or specific RingCentral notifications within Microsoft Teams. These alerts are generated by the RingCentral bot in your Teams chats and can become distracting, overwhelming, or even annoying. Follow the steps below to customize your notifications and reduce unnecessary interruptions.

How to Remove the RingCentral Teams Notifications (Teams App)

1. Open the RingCentral app in Microsoft Teams.

   

2. Click the gear icon in the top-right corner to open the settings drop-down and click on Settings

   

3. Click on Notifications in the left bar in the new window that opens

   

4. The main pane will update with all of the Notification Settings
5. Adjust your preferences:

   • Click the toggle next to any item to turn that specific notification on or off.

   • For example, you may choose to disable Daily unread items while keeping New voicemail notifications enabled.

No need to click Save — changes apply instantly.
Once you toggle a notification on or off, the setting takes effect immediately.
